1. Flight Number Changes and Booking/Ticket Information Transfer

• Following the integration of Asiana Airlines and Korean Air, Asiana Airlines flights departing on or after December 17, 2026, will operate under Korean Air flight numbers and be operated by Korean Air.
• Flight number changes and the transfer of booking and ticket information will proceed gradually according to the schedule below.

  • Transfers for Asiana Airlines and Korean Air codeshare flights will take place from December 7 to 9, 2026.
  • Transfer dates are subject to change based on the integration schedule.

2. Transfer of Personal Information

• To ensure seamless service after the integration, your ticket booking information and associated personal data will be transferred to Korean Air.
  • Data Transferred : All personal information related to your booking, including name, contact number, email, passport number, credit card number, date of birth, gender, membership number, and booking reference.

• Korean Air will securely manage the transferred data in compliance with relevant laws and use it solely for its original intended purpose.
• If you do not consent to this transfer, please notify Asiana Airlines or your ticketing agency of your refusal by 10:00 PM (KST) on November 1, 2026. If you decline, your booking will be canceled and refunded through Asiana Airlines or your original ticketing agency, with fees waived.
• Unconsented data will be destroyed immediately after the merger date. However, data required to be retained by law will be securely stored by Korean Air for the mandated period before destruction.

3. Ticket Changes and Refunds

• For itinerary changes or refunds after your flight and booking data has been transferred, please contact the appropriate service center based on your inquiry date:
  • On or before Dec 16, 2026 (Korea Standard Time) : Asiana Airlines or your ticketing agency
  • On or after Dec 17, 2026 (Korea Standard Time) : Korean Air or your ticketing agency

4. Conditions of Carriage

• Due to the integration, the Conditions of Carriage for previously purchased Asiana Airlines tickets will apply as follows:
  • Flights on or before Dec 16, 2026 (Operated by Asiana Airlines) : Asiana Airlines Conditions of Carriage apply. [ View Terms ]
  • Flights on or after Dec 17, 2026 (Operated by Korean Air) : Korean Air Conditions of Carriage apply. [ View Terms ]
  However, Asiana Airlines Conditions of Carriage may apply to certain clauses if they are more favorable to the customer.
• Following the completion of flight number changes and booking data transfer, if you purchased a combined itinerary through Asiana Airlines that includes an Asiana-operated flight and a Korean Air-operated flight (formerly Asiana) departing on or after Dec 17, 2026, the Korean Air Conditions of Carriage will apply to the Korean Air flight.
